BUILDING OUR GLAD PLACE
How important is your glad place to you?
This is a website designed to help you create a happy home. Only part of that process (and granted, it is an important part) consists of purchasing items that will transform your home, apartment, or “glad place” into something you have dreamed about. We’ll present some great products for that effort, and as a retired economics professor you can be assured that I am sensitive about the prices my customers pay. I’ll be looking for products that are affordable, even in a period of inflation.
While I’m trying to present great products at reasonable prices, I will also offer some ideas and principles I have discovered over the many years in which I have enjoyed a glad place on the non-monetary, non-commercial paths to happiness. My wife Pat and I have learned (and probably also forgotten) some of the things that can produce a long and happy marriage. Those ideas may also help you get more mileage out of your income and more fun out of your precious family time together. If this all sounds rather idealistic to you – and I find no fault with my strictly pragmatic friends – do not be concerned; your benefit from using this website will still be considerable just on the basis of its good prices and quality products. Those attributes prove quite compelling in and of themselves.
